  1. Seriously? This hurts

Moving away from reservation date stamp was a kick in the shorts for many reservation holders. Because I have a fall 2020 reservation with one of the dealers that are most impacted by the change, I have little hope of seeing my build before 2025. I've noticed that my anxiety level dropped...
  2. When should I expect my Bronco?

There's no way of accurately predicting it. Right now, it's all about the number of constraining options in your order like tow package, hard top, 2.7l engine, etc. and dealer allocations. The wild card is the production of micro chips and what the impact the latest developments in Europe...
  3. [UPDATE - I'm SOL] Golf Mill Ford Stole my Bronco

The situation sucks, but I would simply place another order elsewhere.
  4. [UPDATE - I'm SOL] Golf Mill Ford Stole my Bronco

Hopefully she didn't order from the OPs dealer
  5. [UPDATE - I'm SOL] Golf Mill Ford Stole my Bronco

When the Bronco was first launched, dealers were required to sell the vehicle 80% of the time to the person who made the reservation or they would loose future allocations. The name match benchmark was lowered to 60% which encourages dealers to sell Bronco orders to the highest bidder. These...
  6. [UPDATE - I'm SOL] Golf Mill Ford Stole my Bronco

This is part of the reason that I'm sticking with Granger, even if I have to wait a few years. With Ford lowering the standard for name matching on reservations, I have a hard time trusting any other dealer these days.
  7. Does changing order slow the process

If you're adding options, it may slow the build, especially if it's a constrained item. If you're removing options, it shouldn't hurt at the most.
  8. Ford CEO Jim Farley on Bronco production & price protection [as of 2/14/22]

Please post the email when you find it. Even if this email exists, it does nothing to correct their misleading statements to consumers and the fact that they allowed it to continue for 16 months before addressing it.
  9. Ford CEO Jim Farley on Bronco production & price protection [as of 2/14/22]

We will be a forgotten minority by that time, left holding our outdated calendars, tattered flags and other gifts that are delivered this year. The more this drags on, the more likely I'm willing to move on from the drama and hold on to the Jeep that I ordered from Granger last month instead...
  10. Bronco Order Sanity Check

    Ordered mine 2 weeks ago.
  11. Bronco Order Sanity Check

Everything in your sequence appears normal and legit. There are lots of people with similar stats. Supply chain issues and allocations are the biggest issue right now. Throw on top of that temporary plant closings due to limited microchip supplies. A lot of stuff is out of their control...
  12. Ford filling 2020 reservations - what does it mean?

I'm being forced to make a decision. I have a high mileage Expedition that is our weekend and out of state vacation vehicle. While it's been an extremely reliable vehicle, I simply can't take the chance of being stranded somewhere hours or days away from home. All options are in the table...
  13. Dealer Demos - rumor is Ford has opened the gates.

I tried to make a play on several dealer mannequins but they either wanted a very high ADM usually double MSRP or were being evasive with the aftermarket accessories that they planned to add and how much it was going to cost. I can't wait any longer so I went a different direction.
  14. Ford filling 2020 reservations - what does it mean?

Jeeps have a reputation for holding their value and from what I can see, it's true. While the Bronco is still my first choice, I'm super excited for my Sarge Green Willys to come home. I have 2 adult children that might be interested in the Jeep, plus two other relatives that expressed an...
  15. Ford filling 2020 reservations - what does it mean?

I ordered a Jeep on Friday. That's how much confidence that I have of seeing my order fulfilled before the end of 2023.
  16. Ford filling 2020 reservations - what does it mean?

This is news to me and don't see how it could possibly be accomplished with all of the outstanding orders and commodity constraints.
