16mpg which really surprised me. That has been on several short one hour trips. I will be going on a 3000 mile trip this spring which will give me a more accurate measure.
Would it be possible to unbolt the tower enough to tip it back and fold the top all of the way? Then tip it back into position? That would save the effort to completely remove it.
It took mine 10 days to make the journey from the Omaha railyard until it was ready to pick up. Granger will need a few days to have it prepped for you.
Math is only correct when you enter the correct numbers. I have made changes to the trailer, so that it is within manufacture limits. So, thank you for your concern and stay off your "soap box".
I too found it frustrating that a "check engine light" wasn't a priority from my local dealer. I was able to get in sooner from a dealer thirty miles away but still had to wait a week and a half.
I have the same thing going on. My code reader showed a "P0456 Evaporative Emission System Leak Detected". I cleared it and it came back a couple of days later. I have a service scheduled on 8/2. I had to call around to a couple of dealers. The first dealer told me they were a month out on check...
Yes, it is very solid. I used a Dremel too and trimmed the plastic plate holder so that it fit flush then screwed it to the skid plate. I then put a bead of black extra strength silicone to the sides to take care of any unevenness. (I first verified that there was nothing behind the skid plate.)
