Have 2 Fords requiring 5w-30 and one requiring 5w-20 at 6 quarts. Hate buying that $14 extra quart. The Maverick uses 5w-30 at about 5 2/3 of a quart and Bronco uses 5w30 at 5 quarts so I keep an extra 5 quart jug around for top offs. Thoughts on 1 quart of 5w30 as the 6th quart on oil changes...

Notice the small volume circle with the delayed real volume indicator. The volume changes. The indicator follows after the volume is set and left. Clears up after next vehicle power cycle or a period of time.
