  1. Badlands made it to Crested Butte! (Post pics if it was you)

I don't know if it developed any warning lights or leaky a-pillars on the long drive here ;) but I just saw my first live Bronco in Crested Butte. Apologies for no pics but I was driving the other way and it wasn't the best place to be futzing with my phone. It was a Shadow Black 4dr soft top...
  2. Yeah, but when in 22?

I always knew my Grangtober reservation and order was going to be a MY22, and was hoping for maybe around June. However, after hearing about large numbers of orders either getting pushed to MY22 or people opting to code 99 their orders I'm thinking that there are going to be lots of people like...
  3. German Company Making Carbon Fiber for Your Ford Bronco

Not really something I would want, but seems to be a notable, if expensive, option for overlanding. Jalopnik article
  4. High pkg a $0 option for Badlands build?

I just did yet another build to print it out to send to my dealer. (Badlands, 4Dr, 2.7, 10 sp auto, Sasquatch, High pkg, MIC top, Iconic Silver.) Now it's showing the High package as a $0 option??? Also the B&P listed the rock rails as optional even though they are included on the Badlands.
  5. ACC without LUX using FORScan?

I would really like adaptive cruise control but can't justify the cost of the Lux package. It's my understanding that my BL build with high package already has most of the necessary sensors and any that might be missing could probably be purchased at the parts counter. So I'm wondering if it...
  6. What if a white roof was a late availability option, would you wait?

Similar to the late availability of the mansquatch, my imagination came up with the idea of offering the white top, but as late availability option. The reason I would selfishly like that approach is I personally have no interest in a white top, but a ton of people do, and many of those are...
  7. Waiting a year for a Bronco seemed OK. So why does 1.5yrs seem like sooo much longer?

Since I didn't place a reservation until the end of August it looks like I'll be one of those who wouldn't see a build until Spring 2022. When I first talked to my wife about getting one I had naively thought it would be next summer or perhaps early fall. That was not ideal since we would miss...
  8. Late reservation - Why Bother???

If we missed out on the first rush and were to place a reservation now what do we really get? By some accounts we wouldn't;t get our build until spring/summer 2022. Which by then the backlog is gone and we can walk into almost any dealer near the end of a month when they are looking to bump...
  9. Snow tires!

I was wondering if dedicated snow tire availability might push me off getting the Sasquatch pkg on the Badlands. However I was thrilled to find this page saying my amazing Nokian dedicated snows are also available in the larger sizes...
