I did a little digging and this is in fact identity theft and violation of the Florida information protection act of 2014 and NB969 consumer protection act. So yeah, thanks for your uninformed comment.
I cancelled my Bronco Wildtrack build in July because, well, the whole Bronco ordering and delivery experience is a shit show. I completed the cancellation form, got my deposit back, etc.
Yesterday I got an email from Ford saying that my “order” has been converted to a 2023 Outer Banks and order...
No it’s dealer. Salesmen are posting them on using their personal FB accounts and then bringing buyers to the dealership. It’s a way of hiding the ADM evidence off the websites to keep under Ford corporates radar
In addition to the above I also think there would be a concern about sunburn. For me living in Florida, there’s a time for the top off. When that time is over I want coverage.
After watching through the different build week threads it really does seem like a lottery about whose rig gets built when. You have 1-2 rigs every week that are relatively new orders with part constraint requirements still getting built. I’ve seen a few of those ordered in 22 with a wildtrack...
I agree that the 1980s V8s were thirsty. My 95 Bronco on 33s averaged around 15-17 combined highway and city which was pretty decent. Compare that size of rig to the 4 door bronco though in size and weight comparisons and you don’t really see a lot of improvement. Now, Hp and torque improved...
As a general comment, it always amazes me that:
1. A 2.7L turbo gets the same gas mileage as the old 5.0L gas V8. Yes I know there’s a power and acceleration difference but I would take a reduction in output to see fuel efficiency in the mid 20s.
2. In 30 years fuel economy hasn’t gotten better...

3. Ford and other major brands are making a big deal about getting rid of V8s but their 4 and 6 cyl motors don’t do much better… at...
Maybe I am reading this wrong. My understanding is order is confirmed which means that either he just placed the order in June or the dealership has been sitting on the order and just pushed it to Ford in June. In theory neither one of those things should be correct.
Haven’t been tracked the latest build times and backlog lately. Having said that, I saw a post on FB today where it looks like a guy ordered a big bend on June 21 of this year and his vehicle is already in production.
I thought a few things were happening at once to make this not feasible...
