I know this is a long thread, but you should read through at least the back half of it. HOSS 3.0 severe duty STEERING RACK and TIE RODS ...Ford Performance M-3200-WT | Page 118 | Bronco6G - 2021+ Ford Bronco & Bronco Raptor Forum, News, Blog & Owners Community
I noticed a little stiffer feel...
Yes. My 2021 Black Diamond does just fine with the 3.0 rack. Huge thread around here on how to get it programed.
The only thing they are excluding is their software fix. You just have to program it before installing. We've been doing it for over a year on here. You can order the same rack...
Yes, that is a concern of mine as well. In the past I've never wanted to go lower than 4.88s for strength, but don't have a lot of choice with the motor/transmission combo of the Bronco.
I figure if BigMeats hasn't blown his out though I'm probably fine.
It really depends on personal preference, driving style, terrain, etc. Factory ratios were too high for my likes. For me, lower is better, especially when you have upper gears you don't even use. Many of us cut our teeth on rock crushers that you used first or second as your starting gear...
A refresher for those that either missed it or have forgotten. It gets better the longer you watch. Best part though is the look on the dogs face being included in this video.
Remember folks, it's a choice. Make the right one.
Welp, was thinking 2025 would be a good year for either a 4R or a LC for my wife. I can cross the 4R off the list. She won't drive something that ugly.
They just took the RAV4 and stretched it in a few places.
The issue here is the absolute fit he threw over foreign manufacturing and now he's promoting it. Not to mention copying someone else's design for his own profit.
Hard to tell here, but do you actually want high clearance fenders, or just a different design of fender flare?
Anderson composite and Advanced Fiberglass Concepts are two options for high clearance fenders.
Seems like if you have the factory fog lights it would just be a software issue. Some vehicles do turn on the turn side fog light below a certain speed.
I miss our Volvo with the headlights that turned into the curves.
Because all the new vehicles have multiple computer controlled traction aids that do more than just adjust for limited loss of traction. You may or may not like them, but it is the new standard.
This has been discussed many times. Cruise at 2500-2800fps to stay out of boost. Whatever gear does that for you. If you want long engine life and best fuel economy, don't lug the engine at full boost.
Yeah. Mines been off a long time now and I don't miss it. The Bronco still drives better than all my 60s-80s 4WDs, so I guess I'm just used to it. I do still remind my wife every time she drives it though to keep her speed down.
Great info there. May have been covered and I missed it, but a couple more things. Don't ever let anyone drive over your rope. That jeep drove over the rope several times. Would have been better to have hooked to the passenger side to help pull the bronco back into the road. Don't have your...
