I went to a local Ford dealer to see an Escape in AMB. It’s a very nice looking black but calling it blue is a stretch. Kind of like Cyber Orange (Yellow).

thanks for posting Ashley!

Even at a super-low angle, the full nuclear power of the sun is barely able to catch a few flecks of blue.

This launch is turning into overpromising and underdelivering...

It's kinda tempting in one of these pictures, but just a bit lighter and it would really be a stellar color for more than a couple hours of its life on a Bronco.

I think of my future 4-door as a 2-door with extra cargo space. The rear doors will get used about 5% of the time, but the cargo space will be used often...

Almost went with Antimatter. Decided on Velocity instead. Beautiful color for sure. I just wouldn't be able to handle all the Future scratches. To close to Black.
I know I’ll scratch mine up badly. I’m going to take mine through the woods around my house and there are so many pine trees with low branches, I won’t be able to clear the trails completely. Our Grand Cherokee (black) has stripes just from our driveway in the summer when trees seem to grow fast. I thought about getting a lighter color to handle the pinstripes but after thinking about it, I’d rather get a color I’m excited to see everyday, even with scratches. Maybe I’ll just try and change my perspective and see the scratches as reminders of fun adventures.

I had to double check the author of this post to make sure it wasn't me. Nope, but the same idea. Don't forget you get two extra ways to get to your things.

We should have got Alto Blue that is on the Sport. These pictures in the sun look fantastic. But even living in a state where the sun seems to have a personal vendetta, it would still look Always Mostly Black.
