Holy cow! Without a snorkel? According to the guys at Bronco OFR the depth issues vary depending upon vehicle stance and whether a snorkel is equipped. But I believe the ballpark figure was a little less than 3 feet. Anyone want to chime in with official numbers based on trim level?

Snorkel is not the issue, its the alternator no matter the trim level, they are all below their stated depth.

Aren't there also some breath hoses or whatever that are only taller on the Everglades?

yes, I haven't checked what they look like on mine. my mid point height from ground to the center of headlights is around 44" so thats a good gauge to keep water levels out of the important electronics. braptors are rated at 36" depth factory, can't remember what it is on the other trims.

Neat trail, made it 1/2 way through the video, I’ve never seen anyone move so painfully slow through water/mud holes on purpose.
If the water is below your fender opening in general you should be ok. The breathers are just above that height and I believe they all top out on the drivers side front and rear.
