Well I drive a crap load of miles to work, the Bronco is not just a weekender or strictly off road so work great for me, they are still fairly quiet, mileage still good and did Great on wear. Saying that, yep Utah rock crawling will make a difference.Oh, to be able to drive on beach sand all the time to get 68K miles out of tires.
Utah rocks are not tire friendly, so my tires will likely be replaced based on the number of chunks taken out of them rather than getting down to the wear bars.
I snow wheel extensively. I ran the AT3’s for almost 50,000 miles on everything from snow wheeling to rubicon. I recently switched to the AT4’s. I can attest, they do just as well in the snow as the AT3’sThat must be some hard-ass rubber compound to have that much tread @ 68K. They must really suck in the winter. Loved the AT3's, not so much for the AT4's.
get a couple days of snow per year where I live most of the years. This last storm was the most in a little bit, so not super important to me. Saying that, they did fine with 68,000 plus on them To boot. They ride great, still quiet and super smooth. Great off road and in the mud, don’t fling gravel…I do a huge amount of highway driving, if I had Another vehicle dedicated to my work commute then I would consider other options geared more to additional offroad use. But no can do, not in the cards for me at this time. That must be some hard-ass rubber compound to have that much tread @ 68K. They must really suck in the winter. Loved the AT3's, not so much for the AT4's.
I've had my AT4s on for a little over a year. I put them on & the first thing I did was a 17 day, 6k mile road trip to Arizona, Glamis, Johnson Valley for KOH, Sand Hollow, Moab & Colorado.I snow wheel extensively. I ran the AT3’s for almost 50,000 miles on everything from snow wheeling to rubicon. I recently switched to the AT4’s. I can attest, they do just as well in the snow as the AT3’s
You might want to change the photo on the video from the Wildpeak RT01 to the AT4W. I was at first confused about which tire you were going to talk about.
No problems just the stuff for recalls, (I have a 21) but I change my oil like clockwork, every 3500-4000, I have an automatic changed fluid every 60,000K front and rear diffs once every year , transfer case @ 60k but if you offroad a lot in 4 wheel drive every 25K. Air Filter every 10K if you offroad in dust at all. I still have original brakes. So I'm just wondering if you've had any other issues with your Bronco overall getting to that mileage, because I just broke 20000 on my 22 bad lands. And i'm hoping for this to be my forever car or at least like ten years, and at least over two hundred thousand miles without any major issues. So I was hoping to see what other people's experiences were.I do have the manual transmission.
Idk ..we don’t get a lot of snow here but I run 11.5, not 12.5 ..which are you? Supposedly and I’m no expert the 11.5 have a more focused traction for snow while the 12.5 are better in mud. What’s the secret? I just put at4s on my Bronco. Tried it out in the snow down to 30 psi. I was worried I was going to get stuck. So had to back out of the path I wanted to take. My Kenda klever rts seemed to do better in the snow for me. Is it simply the tread pattern?
I personally haven't had any issues. Mine is lifted 2" though. 10 speedAny issues with the weight of the AT4’s? I was thinking of going to 35x11.5 on my base bronco at first tire change. Thks
