Ohio Road Rally with my Bronco & son

My son (14) and I did a road rally this weekend. Our first one, we finished 2nd out of 8 cars. I am so impressed how he navigated, few learning curves but he was a beast.

Met some new friends, pulled some people out of the ditch, had a great time. Exterior shots were not taken by me but by others along the way.

Yes, well starting point then we went all over the country side it was a great ride and good views.

Also met up with @zyglyrox has a bad little Eruption Green Bronco. He had a b pillar brace for me so after meeting up and chatting a bit my son and I found a car wash to get out of the weather/wind peel the top and put the brace on it was a balmy 9ish degrees.

This is the original sign up/event registration. This specific rally has been going on for over 50 years the Rallymaster said they used to start the rally at night and end it in the early morning hours. It is quite wild to start in the day and finish at night as we did. I was thankful for the additional lighting I had, more would have been better. They did talk about some rallys in the Detroit region as well. I have not found any additional ones listed yet.

This event was well within legal road laws/speeds. It was a lot of fun and then we all hung out for a bit at the Auburn Inn for drinks and food at the end.

Specifically it is a TSD Rally, Time Speed Distance. It required no fancy equipment in the vehicle and we did all the calculations off the trip 1 odometer as I had it pulled up on the screen for my son to calculate off of. They had you 18 pages of around 79 points you have to hit.

There was a Miata, Porsche, Audi, Jeep, Cougar, Eclipse, Hyundai Accent (that was attempting to pull said Porsche out of the ditch till we showed up and got the job done, Bronco power! ) and some other vehicles I cannot remember.
