Flew out to Kansas City on Friday to pick up my Bronco. Took a road trip on a section of Route 66 from Springfield, MO to Amarillo, TX and back up to Colorado for the past 2 days and what a trip it was.

Absolutely love my Bronco. Had the dealer put on the Gatorback mud flaps and glad I did...these tires really do pick up the rocks.

My Bronco had 7 miles on it Saturday morning...it now has 1,400 miles and every mile was special. Got a chance to see some cool sights on Route 66 and was amazed at how comfortable the Bronco is on the highway...so smooth. Had a flawless trip back and looking forward to getting dirty up in the mountains here in Colorado.

Here are a few photos on my epic weekend trip...

Yes. I asked him not to install it until I was there to see where and how it would be mounted. Once I got there, he showed me and I gave the green light. Totally ok with that placement.
Yes, if that's the new bracket than I'll just go with it too. The old version sat to high. My Bronco is being built in March, hopefully. 😉

Ask to have you look at it first like I did. If you don't like it, don't have them install.

I am in Springfield MO and so is my dealer so someday when it finally shows up I can just do a single video stream of my 2.3 mile drive home.... :)
I’m in Springfield as well. Are you using Corwin?

Love the photos....thanks for posting. Congratulations on your new ride. PS, how much did those mud flaps set you back?
