Flew out to Kansas City on Friday to pick up my Bronco. Took a road trip on a section of Route 66 from Springfield, MO to Amarillo, TX and back up to Colorado for the past 2 days and what a trip it was.

Absolutely love my Bronco. Had the dealer put on the Gatorback mud flaps and glad I did...these tires really do pick up the rocks.

My Bronco had 7 miles on it Saturday morning...it now has 1,400 miles and every mile was special. Got a chance to see some cool sights on Route 66 and was amazed at how comfortable the Bronco is on the highway...so smooth. Had a flawless trip back and looking forward to getting dirty up in the mountains here in Colorado.

Here are a few photos on my epic weekend trip...

Congrats OP.

I can just hear the people driving next to you......."Mommy, mommy, why doesn't that man stop smiling. Is there something wrong with him"?

Swafford's Ford in Richmond. Awesome dealership and small, family-owned.
My order is in Leavenworth at Zeck Ford. Good to hear there are good dealerships in the middle of the country. Congrats!

I see you've got the front mud flaps on there with the rock rails. Did you have to modify them? I recall seeing ford accessories website saying they weren't compatible with the rockrails

That is a great trip, I did the whole length of 66 in my 2013 Boss 302, there were abandoned sections which would have been fun a Bronco!

Sorry, I can't speak to that. Just like the look of it and have no need to remove parts of it or add to it.
