The first ever Bronco the Mac event was held this past weekend in St. Ignace Michigan.
Over 120 Broncos from classics to 6th gen were there. A police-escorted drive across the Mackinac Bridge and back, a. parade through town, plus several group trail rides were all held over a two day period in Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

Next year we need YOU from whatever state you're in to come to Michigan for this awesome event.

Here are some of my snaps from the weekend, and a video of what my weekend looked like.

We found out about this a bit late. We’re actually going home (Calumet) for a visit in July. Will be the first time we’ve had a Bronco in the UP since ‘87.

I thought the event was great. We are working with the St Ignace visitors bureau to make day 2 a Drummond Island day, similar to Jeep the Mac. 2024 should be even better!
Good!! And thank you for everything, you made a great event sir!! It was a blast!
And I am really looking forward to some help on Drummond Island! I would have explored a lot more with a group!

That will be great! Headed to Marquette some time in July too. It’s been a couple years for us.

I'm going to have to add this to calendar next year. Grew up a midwest boy (Chicago) and took many a trip to Michigan when I was a kid, we even drove around around Lake Michigan one year in my parents 1964 Ford Falcon. I haven't been on Mackinac Bridge since I was a kid.

This was our first big outing in the Bronco, the bridge crossing was a hoot, and the adventure on Drummond showed us what a base Bronco was capable of. Quite a lot more than we had thought.
I wish I made the DI ride, I will be there with the club again Sept. 15-17.
