And if you want to pay a 25K ADM.
$85-90k for a vehicle is steep, especially for a non-luxury vehicle. Do you really think dealers will charge $25k on top of $60-65k?

I would bet there will be at least one dealer out there charging $50k or more ADM on a Warty

3.0 EcoBoost all but confirmed

I hope those two appreciate how awesome their life is to drive that big booty High Output vehicle.
Hopefully, that engine will pump out a bit more than 400HP....

Agree. It looks like the Explorers with the 3.0 range from 365 to 400 HP. Does anyone know if it is capable of more than 400?

The 3.0 is 400HP in the Explorer ST, and tuners will have no issues getting another 100hp with a tune, intake and exhaust.

That is great to hear. So should the expectation be for Ford to come out the gate with more than 400 HP or to keep it at 400 in the Warthog?

This is a win for rez holders. Anyone think Ford hasn’t thought this through? Demand will outpace supply initially(still haven’t hit road). Warthog will capture many enthusiasts looking to upgrade and possibly others. Doesn’t hurt their current rig is easy to sell with a reasonable resale value.

Lease anyone??

I would expect it to be more, close to the 392 wrangler output figures. Spend much time on the explorer st forum reading about the 3.0 and it seems to have a lot left in it

I think dealers that do charge mark up will be tagging these hogs anywhere between 10-20K in hot areas. I also think the MSRP will be closer to 70K+.
With 84 month loans these days...people will bite.

It's in the Explorer ST/Platinum and Aviator/Aviator GT (hybridized in GT form).

They dropped the SuperCab Raptor for the new one as well.
3.0L came out in the MKZ and Continental for 2017MY, then 2020 Explorer and Aviator got it.

so there should be well-engineered designs for 37” rubber. I’ll stick to my non-SAS BL and wait for a solid kit to bring it up to 37s
