Ive been searching and searching for a good storage / drawer solution for the 2 door with the seats removed.

I unfortunately don't have the time / knowledge to build my own currently so i was hoping to find a pre made product.
Perfect world i would just buy something like a "decked system" but i haven't been able to find one that fits the 2 door.
My end goal is to have a system that uses the full space and has near close to full drawer length.
roughly 50 inches deep open space with seats removed and roughly 42 inches wide

Does anyone have any other solutions i havent found yet?
Or a good guide/shopping list i could sync my next month into trying to build?
The models i have found currently are as follows

Ford Bronco 2 Door seats removed drawer systems? 20250214_160113_2048x2048

Best 100% solution(but $$$$) (this is what i would try and build if i had the time)
https://airdowngearup.com/collectio...r-system-bronco-2-door?variant=58298017644703

Possible? (need to email decked to askif there is a solution / how easy to remove side pannels are)
https://decked.com/products/drawers-midsize

80% solution (but would have to build mounting system)
https://shwoffroad.com/product/custom-size-ultralite-series-drawer-system-for-any-suv/

80% solution (made for 4 door)
https://solidwoodworx.com/products/bronco-4-door-dual-drawer-storage-precut-kit

50% solution (way to small and qualityseem garbage based on other posts)

I have the AirUpGearDown drawers. Absolutely love them, the customer service was amazing. Totally worth the money.

I can speak to the @wheelsfeels.com system, that is actually my Bronco in the picture you linked.

Not sure what you mean by too small since they are all essentially the same size in that they cover the entirety of the space from the tailgate to the front seats. Maybe you mean that you are looking for a drawer that is taller, which is understandable. If you want any measurements of the drawer, I can provide them. Also one nice thing about this system is that in addition to the drawer there are two storage areas to the left and to the right of the drawer, plus you can store things under the 'storage platform' area as they show it in the picture.

As to quality, this is probably a bit subjective and also a 'get what you pay for' thing. Not as solid as the ADGU solution but also not 6X the price. The wood that they make it from is high quality and the design is good, it fits well. I have given them some feedback that the hinges could use an upgrade, they are a little undersized IMO.

If you have any questions I can give you answers from my experience, I have had this installed for a few months and more than 3000 miles.

Interesting...... I'm assuming they have issues with their chat feature or whatever (most likely crap AI system) they have running it told me the drawer depth was only 17"
If you happen to have some pictures of it i would be very applicative.

And yeah after searching this forum the quality control seemed to be a massive complaint and for $1,000 dollars i feel like most people expected more (but yes 6x the price)

I do know that they have recently hired an actual person to run their technical support function in the Houston office full time so that should get a lot better going forward.

The inside dimensions of the drawer for the model with the seats removed is:
31 1/2 inches wide
29 1/4 inches deep
5 5/8 inches tall

The 17 inch value was probably for the drawer system with the rear seats still installed.

Here are a couple of pictures but if you want a view of something else specific let me know and I can provide it

Thank you!
Thats actually really appealing now.
Sorry about to blast you with a bunch of small questions

Did you do any modifications to it / plan to?
Have you noticed any issues with the shelfs or anything moving while bouncing around offroad or issue with things coming undone/flapping open while doors off? (basically how confident does the mounting to the vehicle make you)
Have you noticed any wear and tear on it over your time with it? (i off road a bit and my current storage containers have had to be ratchet strapped down to make sure they don't go flying around)

Thank you again for the insight its really appreciated (and could save me a ton of $$$)

No problem I am happy to answer these...

Mods: I used some felt tape to cover some exposed areas to cut down on some rattling noise where wood was bouncing on wood. It helped a lot. The only future mod I am thinking of right now is an upgrade on the hinges that it comes with, and the fasteners that are used to attach the hinges to the wood. The OEM hinges are small and rattle a bit and not super strong (see below). I also did a slight mod on one of panels to make it fit a little better but I gave that info to the engineering team and they were going to modify the dimensions on the panel to fix that going forward.

Mounting and moving: the mounting to the Bronco is very solid, it does not move at all and I have done light off-roading. They engineered the lid of the drawer well so that it has tabs that fit in to the drawer on both ends so that when the drawer is closed the tab (on left in pic below) fits in to the slot in the drawer (on right in pic) and prevents the lid from flopping open. I have never used it with the doors off so that is something I had not thought of, it might be possible that those front flaps right behind the front seats might catch air and want to flop open. If that were the case it would be an easy fix to put some kind of a latch on them.

Wear and tear: I did note when I had a very heavy load on main panel that it looked like one of the screws on one of the hinges was pulling out of the wood. I took pictures and shared it with the WF team, they were happy to have the feedback and the main production guy (Rob) was going to talk to the main engineer (Andrew) about upgrading the hardware. That might happen as some point, but if not it would be an easy thing to do on your own if you wanted to.

Let me know if anything else I can answer!

They pretty much always have a discount code on their website for 15-20% so make sure you use that with your order! Also I will note they they are a small shop, but just recently bought a second CNC milling machine and are also about to double their shop square footage by expanding in to the space next door. So that will help them pump out orders more quickly but I think right now they are still on a multi-week backlog on order fulfillment. If you ask them they should be able to give you a pretty good timeline on fulfillment. They also have an option to pay extra to have your order bumped up if you really need it quickly for a trip or something. Hope it goes well and if you have any feedback you can give it to me and I will make sure it goes straight to the ownders/cofounders.
