Well, time flies when you're having fun! Two years ago today I took delivery of my very early reservation 2021 Outerbanks, Sasquatch, 4dr, 2.7, lux, Tow, MIC, leather.

It's my daily driver/sunny day convertible. I've towed a few things, hauled stuff, done 7+hrs road trips, long Alaskan winters on Nokian Hakkapeliittas. This is it's 3rd winter.

The interior has held up very well, no wear spots up front. The cargo area has a few light scuffs but nothing major.

The 2.7 is awesome, plenty of power and I'm happy with the fuel mileage, 13-14mpg daily a little less in winter and as high as 22mpg on long road trips. I had a leaky valve cover in the summer of 2022 but zero other issues since.

My early Oct 2021 MIC 2.0 looks just as it did when delivered, I'm happy and a bit surprised to ge honest. A couple rattles/squeaks but have been remedied with a little electrical tape, hockey tape and lube on the seals.

The factory Goodyears I only run in summer, they are a little noisy but otherwise I'm happy with them. They are probably at 60%, I just took them off to put the snow tires on.

Overall I'm very happy. I plan to keep it forever, I do think I'll pop for an extended warranty before the 3/36 runs out just in case.

Do you prefer 4H, 4Auto and/or slippery GOAT mode on your mixed wintery roads?

Nice report- and I know what you mean when you say you are keeping it forever. I have had by Basequatch 2 door with 2.7 for 1 year and 7 months now, 8K miles. Defective driveshaft had to be replaced, defective headlight switch and windshield recall are the only issues. Other than that, love it and no plans to trade or sell it and I trade, buy often- sometimes in 6 months. It's a tight built one too, no rattles or squeaks at all. On of my favorite vehicles of all time. Very respectable overall MPG average at 22.7, highway and around town.

Almost one year 12k miles and I feel pretty similar to you.

Hopefully I can keep it long term through good care and maintenance. Some scratches in the trunk from my golden but overall not much wear. I do feel like I need to tighten the doors sometimes as they donā€™t close perfectly the first time I close them. The hardtop doesnā€™t fit perfectly on the front two panels like 1mm slightly off from side to side but if it holds up and keeps the rain out thatā€™s all that matters. Moab got my engine bay quite dirty so I need to learn how to clean it up as Iā€™ve only really been doing typical rinse wipe down on the outside and hand vacuum leather wipes on the interior.

Eventually replace tires for nicer than stock and a new air filter but pretty happy about the power of the tune and 2.7 sound with the massive muffler.

Some recent pics as we move into the winter!

I recommend viewing these videos from AMMO NYC on detailing.
The link I have included highlights engine bay cleaning along with the whole vehicle..

Thanks guys, you are giving me hope for my newly placed big bend order. After reading some of the "issue" threads on the forum I was beginning to feel like I had made a mistake and that they all fall apart...
I realize there will be issues with any car and recalls are part of it, but reading the bad news on the forums can really get you down.

just over 2 years and 10k miles on my base 2dr 2.3 auto that has seen a 5k mile roadtrip, duty in the "deerwoods", hauling small machine shop equipment and my wife's driving (probably going to get into trouble for that part!) with no problems, no issues other than a bit of paint removal on the tailgate from some machine tools moving. Reading some of the posts about the horrors others are going through I'm thinking I'm lucky, but it seems MOST aren't dealing with anything other than normal problems. I'm keeping it.

It depends on the road conditions. We got 30" of heavy wet snow last week, nothing plowed, roads packed into 4x4 goat trails so I prefer 4H with loose snow as there's no delay in the front wheels getting power.

My current combo is 4H and slippery. But I'll be in 4A or 4H until April or later depending.

This was last Thursday. We have another 12" coming down now.

Congratulations, beautiful Bronco. We should start the Bronco Two Year Club. I picked mine up 10-15-21 at 10,548 miles. Had no idea where this journey would take me but has been pure excitement.

Very, very happy with mine. 2 years on Nov 22, 42,310 miles on it this morning on the way to work.
No issues. The ONLY thing Iā€™ve taken it to the dealer for is a replacement window switch where the rubber broke off of a button.
I wheel it an avg of once a month or more over that time. Sometimes in situations I was not comfortable in but it seemed content to be put in.
Lots of new places visited, lots of memories made.
And more to come.

Do they use road salt in Alaska? I live in the Northeast and the amount of salt and brine they use on the roads is disgusting. 5-6 years and your new car is reduced to a pile of rusty metal.

My area in PA has gotten better with using more gravel instead of so much salt. They come around in the spring with road cleaners to get the extra.

Picked up a FE used almost a year ago. Other than an initial drained battery (had been sitting) and the dead modem and split steering wheel hub (both of which my dealer replaced under warranty), no complaints. I had the top off this summer and am now driving it as my winter daily driver.
