Yeah get that, but some vehicles just dont look good when you stray too far from their origin... I think this is gonna be one of those vehicles. But I'll be interested to see the finished products.

You planning on 22's?
Ahhh no! 17s work just fine for me!

I agree wholeheartedly. I'm not even an old guy (32 in May) but give me chrome, polished, clear coated aluminum, silver, gray, bronze, white....anything but black. Still debating on how to handle that on my SAS Bronco.
Ahh yes....it's the "Only old guys run chrome/polished wheels" bit. My 16yo tells me that all the time. It's dookie dad!

Own rigs with both black and aluminum polished. I see the point some make about black wheels being everywhere cuz it's true. Sorta like the move we're seeing to gray and dark bronze wheels. May go that direction once tire replacement time comes.

This thread really makes me want to run 38s on 20 inch black rims in one of those bright pink/teal chameleon paint jobs at the Baja 1000.

If I managed to place, this forum would probably collapse in on itself like a neutron star.

That's the running joke anyway, only old people like shiny wheels.

For me the black wheels you loose the design/depth of the wheel and it might as well be a black steel wheel at that point. I said the same thing to a friend who put black wheels on his '20 Audi RS5. But according to him the factory wheels looked like "Honda accord wheels"...I liked them better lol.

I have factory 20s on 33s and one wheel is bent. 17s or 18s for me in the future.
🤮 Is for the 20's

 For the 17's

Something like this works for me

Ford Bronco 20-22" wheels? SmartSelect_20210217-201303_Google

You must love the wheels on the base then
Uh... no. They are too plain for my liking. Have round holes like the Outlaw II's, but just not the same. And those god awful tires.... way too small!
