2022 bronco start up screen

Anyone know why in the world they change the startup screen on the 2022 bronco Big Bend? I used to have an amazing bronco at startup now I only have an ugly blue screen. Anyone know if they have plans to change it back?

You have the standard equipment package or the Mid package?

2022 Bronco here with the latest update and I still have the startup animation. So I'm wondering it was a change limited to just the APIM (Sync computer) on the standard equipment package.

I was having problems with my 8" screen, going unresponsive and being laggy. Brought it in to the dealer and they were unable to replicate the problem. I also brought up that the start up animation had disappeared. They said they updated the modules and I do have the start up animation again. Sync 4 is still buggy but ive got my startup horse back at least.

Need Forscan to do that. I disabled that, the seatbelt reminder, audio enhancements and several other items.

I’m thinking that’s an error during an Over the Air update. Might be fixed by having the dealer do a module configuration on the APIM.
