Ok so it’s not the end of the world but I’ve seen to have lost the bucking bronco startup screen. My radio just stays black until the system boots up and it doesn’t display anything when I open the door to get in or out. Everything else works fine and I’ve reseat the radio a few times

Yes. The center screen graphic has changed to a simple silhouette/outline of a bronco sometime in my24
Bummer, thought it was a pretty cool start up screen. Ford continues to find things to go backwards on with their features and cost cutting measures. Yet their cost keeps going up and up...

Mine started doing that a while back. I had to replace the computer that runs the entertainment center. It was running so slow the animation wasn't coming up. If you are still under warranty I would take it in.

You might need the unit that runs your entertainment center replaced. That is what happened to me and now I have the animation back.

Thats sounds so crazy to have to have the APIM (likely what you are referencing) replaced on a brand new Bronco. Not impossible just silly. I do not have any other performance concerns out of the display, just that its not showing the rock start up screen. It does show a Bronco logo that fades in and out, but not the usual start up screen. Made me think Ford changed it.

I couldn't believe I had to have it replaced so soon. I took it in for an update and the service manager noticed it was taking forever to update and told me it was time to have it replaced and that was why the animation wasn't coming up.

Im beginning to wonder if this is actually just the new change to the latest softwares on the Sync system. My wifes 24 Everglades has the exact same start up as my 24, and hers was built April, mine built September. Just shows this image fading in and out over and over again. Was yours showing this same logo?

I dont think its the same as others have mentioned where nothing happens at all. Makes me believe this is just the new graphic they are going with. I just find it hard to believe that two 24s in our driveway both need a new APIM just because a graphic is different on start up. Seems odd to me.

I going to reference this the next time someone on here says "why wouldn't you want automatic updates you technophobe!" ;)
Yeah, I agree. But my 24 has auto updates turned off still cause its brand new. So mine came from the factory this way.

Dropped off at dealer today after Ford reached out. I’ll post updates when I get them.

This is what mine is showing now. I've lost the the rolling rocks. I have auto update turned on. So Am I understanding that this is the "new" startup screen or is there something wrong with my entertainment module?

Just had mine in the shop for problems with the PCM. They fixed the problem and updated the system. I lost the "rolling rock bronco" and now have the blue screen with the bronco silhouette. It's the update, folks. Sucks, I really liked the old graphic.

I don’t believe there is anything wrong with your module. Everyone who has the latest updates have this new start up it seems. Ford just cut the start up out.

Do you have a picture of that by chance?
