I have a reservation since 7/29/20 and plan to order in August, seems the 2 doors are being delayed the most. Dealer told me it would be at least a year to get my Bronco. They have orders from last fall that don’t have a build date yet.
Find a different dealer when the order banks open or adjust your build. I placed a order for a 2 door BB on 12/8/21, took delivery last week. Small local dealer that didn’t have many orders.

Don’t want to change build, I am not in a hurry as long as I can get the build I want. Besides due to turning 59 1/2 next July it will be just the right time 😎

My guess, if orders open August 15th…

Order guide drops between Friday August 5th and Wednesday August 10th

Between August 9th and 14th, 22 rollover to 23

August 15th order banks open.

This lines up with last year process/timeline

My thinking on fixing "A LOT OF" design flaws is:

Ford is going into Nov with this year's production to get as much of the my22s orders done as possible, or so they say. Since the change over to my23 is happening so late in the year, is there enough time to make a lot of changes? And does it make sense with all the back orders and demand?

Next year will be an already short production year due to the late change over to my23 and so it may make some sense to make more changes then, kind of like when mid-model cycle update when changes are normally made. And, after production is catching up with orders.

Add supply problems and things could be deleted, i.e. numbers on temp control knobs. But to add a bunch, may be too much, replacing something that's hard to get, probably. Changes for safety or reliability, yes.
I agree that they're not going to make major changes, but I was thinking like maybe they would fix the front camera location so adding a winch on an off-road vehicle still makes it functional. Maybe fix the carpet on the back seats... Which they had commented on but said that it would require new crash testing.

Thought I read something about them getting rid of the Sync system for 2023.

Stuff like that.
