Curious why the previous owner would have removed the capable bumper that the Black Diamond came standard with and replaced it with the plastic bumper. They had to do more by also jettisoning the front bash plate and recovery points. I presume the dealer slapped the trim badges on the door where they don't belong as the previous owner removed them from the fenders.
Honestly the thought of removing a capable for a plastic, sketches me out about that vehicle. I'd be running the vin and checking the carfax to make sure it's both actually a black diamond and not a base with SAS takeoff rims, rails, and black diamond stickers (in the wrong place) or heavily damaged in a collision that necessitated repairs using the cheapest pieces available.

I checked the VIN as it was triggering my spidey senses. With Ford extending the Black Diamond seating and washout to other trims, my first instinct is it was a Big Bend (Base never got the fog lights) that had a grill swap and rock rails added. But the VIN does check out as a Black Diamond. The trim badges are wonky, but that front end is still curious. Might have been wrecked and the cheapest bumper was used to "fix" it. Anyone that is wheeling hard enough to warrant the front locker in the Sasquatch package wouldn't opt to replace a steel bumper and bash plate with plastic components. Of course, there are plenty of Sasquatch optioned Broncos that only serve as rugged cosplay for the owners.

Yeah, that truck does seem odd with the badge in the wrong place and wrong bumper. It makes you think there was front end work done for some reason.

As I am sure everyone knows, accidents only show up on Carfax if there was an insurance claim.
it seems to me there was an accident but no insurance claim as the owner opted to pay out of pocket which is why the cheapest plastic parts were used.

That place is known for buying, fixing, and reselling vehicles with branded titles. Read through the ad and you’ll see that the Bronco has a branded title.

^^ yep, there it is. Truck's been in a collision.

Despite a branded title, it’s Savvy Certified, inspected for quality, and comes with a 4-month/4,500-mile warranty. Visit AutoSavvy Richardson for a vehicle that combines innovation, safety, and rugged capability.

Before completing paperwork on any leftover, aged or used Bronco, ask your Ford dealer to show you a printout of its Oasis report. This report will give you a record of any Ford service work performed on the vehicle by any Ford dealer.

I bought a leftover 23 in October of 2024 and was able to see that the dealer charged up the battery, and performed the rear quarter glass sealing recall -- which reminds me, check for any evidence of leaks (dried water drop splashes or drip marks).

Here's a good video on what you can see in an Oasis report. Good luck!

With a reference to a branded title, often what many would call a salvage title, it may have been a cheap rebuild after the auction...
