2025 Manual Transmission Thread

I’m late to the game here, but have been eyeing a manual badlands since 2020. I finally bit the bullet and ordered one (confirmed by Ford 5/19).

A bit troubling that so many here have waited so long after submitting a manual order, but glad to see more getting scheduled lately.

At the end of the day, I’ve already waited 5 years, and didn’t want to settle for something less than my ideal build once life allowed me to be in the market. I doubt I’ll ever run into another Bronco like mine, which is kind of cool. I’ll just be thrilled to get it whenever it shows up.

Is this a two door? I haven't seen a paint matching hardtop Eruption Green if it is!

So, manuals are finally being scheduled for production and delivered. Coming from my 2021 7mt, Big Bend, I really want to stick with a manual, however, my dealership has 2 door, Badlands in Azure Grey with the black roof for $54k, in an auto.

With that being said, how are the 10 speeds in the Broncos? Wondering if I would regret not ordering a manual.

I'm going to swing by the dealership on Friday and either order a manual or maybe consider again picking up the Badlands in auto.

It’s a 4 door - should’ve specified that. I’m sure there will be plenty of autos around that look like mine - there’s one on a lot not far from me. I’m sure someone else will have my build, with a manual, but I highly doubt we’ll cross paths.

We drove automatics in the 2.3 and 2.7 and we strongly considered buying one. They were great. We may still end up with one if there’s tariffs applied importing into Canada. The manual transmission might drop the CUSMA content enough for duties to get expensive. I have my eye on a 10 speed 2.7 Badlands if that comes to be.

The manual was just so much fun; it fit with what we thought the Bronco should be. We had been close to buying a Rubicon manual and that was our point of comparison.

Anyone else still unscheduled? Ordered '25 Big Bend 4-dr 7MT in January...still not scheduled.

I ordered my 4-dr Badlands MT Velocity Blue Lux Package MT on Feb 20, still waiting for my VIN.....

I ordered about the same time you did. The first manual transmission builds for 2025 models were the week of April 28th. I don’t know if anybody ever found out what the holdup was.

Holdup could have been due to this being the first application of the manual transmission on the new 2.3L engine.

Just got my VIN and build date for my manual Badlands! Ordered 5/19 and scheduled 5/22 for a build week of 7/21.

Just passing along if there were others like me wondering if they were too late to the game.

Wow. So looks like a lot of you guys who ordered this month are immediately getting scheduled. Im going to order a 2 door, Badlands tomorrow. Hoping I cant still production date of the middle of July as well.

To clarify - Your badlands order has the body colored roof, right?

I think that’s only for new orders, not ones already in the order bank.
