My dealer head back from her rep and this was the reply: My rep heard back from the plant and there are some quality assurances they are addressing and that is why it has not been released. We are waiting for more information now from them.

I am not busting on the dealer at all as they have been great, but this is the single most non-answer answer I have heard yet. No kidding there are some quality assurances they are addressing. They have been allegedly addressing these quality assurances since April 2 when I first went on the quality assurance hold.

Thanks for the update that is not good news. My wife and I decided that if we hit August we are done and will order a 26MY.

There are several changes in the 25MY the big one is the Digital Dash which most likely is the culprit.

Why would you think that? Digital dashes are more reliable than standard instrument clusters with moving parts and bulbs. I've never had an issue with one ever in plenty of vehicles.

That is true but the software is the problem. On the 2023 Escape they stopped production for 6 months after job 1 due to software issues with the dash when they switched over to the digital dash.

I believe the biggest change is duel injection on the ecoboost

Doubtful. There would be a recall if that were the case since 25s have already been built and sold. This is more likely an assembly issue.

I myself would not be worried about the milage at all but I would be worried about the engine temperature being 264 Deg.

I'm so glad we have this screen shot. Some dealership weiner was snapping photos while that bronco was gettin' COOKED. I see the engine light, wrench light, and a coolant temp light are on. I bet that poor bronco was making all kinds of beeping noises. UNLESS that's just a normal startup routine... but I doubt it as all of the gauges would be pegging.

Now someone will buy it LOL.

I bet mine is idling outside, waiting to get on the train. 264 degrees, 265, whatever it takes!

That's pretty basic CAN bus stuff and I do HMI programming for a living. All the LCD screen does is mirror the information provided by the ECU. It's hard to imagine they would screw up something as simple as ID mapping but that would be an easy mistake to correct and not hold up the line for over a month. This delay seems to be more due to something where every single bronco needs to be inspected for a bad batch or parts or incorrectly torqued fasteners.
