Local Ford dealership hooked me up with a set of the new Nitto Recon Grapplers in 35/12.50r17. Paired with Method 304 Double standards in 17x8.5 with 0 offset. I also installed the Fabtech 1.5” level kit.

Any balancing issues? I replaced my SAS Goodyear’s with KO2’s, and am struggling to get them as smooth as the OEs were.

No sir none at all. Most was 1.5 ounces on one wheel. Others were 1 ounce.

That’s one reason I won’t ever buy KO2s again…they can be very painful to balance. Get them done on a Hunter Road Force Balancer.

That's a lot of money to spend on a tire with basically the same performance as what you had. They do look good but spending that kinda of money on just looks... Well you got more money than me.

I'm going to buy a set of 37" Trail Grapplers M/Ts as soon as I can come up with the funds (which will be a significant upgrade off-road).

Don’t you hate that?

I have 295/70-17 Duratracs on my Jeep and they’ve never been as smooth as the previous 285/70 Duratracs were at 70mph.

I justified my expense with a huge reduction in rock chips. Which has proven true.

Went with 15% on the front two windows and 50% over the factory tint. 50% on windshield.

I do like the factory tire but the rocks I pick up and throw are really getting to me. I have never had a tire pick up and throw rocks like the factory 315’s. Ease silky if I go off road. Sounds like a 1000 tap dancing shoes at once.
