Seeing as I squashed my rear license plate, the one embedded in the steel bumper, probably not for me.

You know someone is going to try to use this as an auxiliary fuel tank...

Disclaimer: Do not use this as an auxiliary fuel tank...
I wonder if it can be converted into a mini keg 🤔

I’m not trying to be a dick but this is kinda goofy. Your truck has plenty of better options for mounting a water system.

Sorry for the dumb question, but is this for drinking water or rinse your stuff off water?

I got it mainly to rinse myself/my gear off. I wouldn't drink from it because I can't really see what's going on in there.

The ad doesn’t say you can’t drink from it and one owner does.
It’s sold for showering and the black paint is intended to absorb solar energy.

The tank can be mounted in other locations and comes with different hardware for that too. You can pick what works best for you

It doesn't mention anything about a internal air bladder. If it doesn't I would not use it for drinking water. Unless you have a oil filter on your air compressor you will have oil carryover in the compressed air.

I had a similar setup with the Waterport 4 gal Daytank but I needed the hitch for other uses so I ended up spending a few months figuring out where to mount it. It ended up on the side of the back area, which actually worked out very well.
I had to relocate the axe above the Waterport and it is a pain to get in and out now, and the spade sticks out in a precarious fashion, but better than not having it when I need it.
Now my biggest issue is that at 45 PSI, it shoots out 4 gal of water in under a minute.

That's a great looking setup you've got going on, I think I might've actually seen your Bronco on the road before too.

If I had a roof rack like yours I'd go with a similar mounting spot to that. Maybe even the 8 gallon tank just for that extra capacity. Do you have any issues with the waterport sitting in the sun all day? That was my biggest concern with their tanks

I've still got about 16" of ground clearance under it, but I think perspective in my pics make it look a lot lower. This pic from the other thread shows it a little better.
