I just got a chance to drive the badlands 7 speed 2.3 four-cylinder. And I want to make some comparisons to my 2012 JK use 3.6 6speed manual.
It appears both of them have some nanny components to the drivetrain that will prevent you from stalling the engine which is always nice especially if you’re going to be driving offroad. Interior wise definitely has more space in the passenger cabin. I’m 5 foot 10 and almost 400 pounds and had to slide the Heated power seat forward to reach the pedals!!!
I plan on overland trips in it and was fortunate that someone left a cardboard box inside that is the exact footprint of my refrigerator and it will fit perfectly where it did not fit in the back of my JKU.
The floor too soft top dimension is deeper in the bronco than in the wrangler which also means the windows are a little taller but I never once felt like I couldn’t see out of adequately to be honest the 360 camera is almost redundant the visability and the bronco is so fantastic I think my Wrangler suffered more but I’m not sure why yet.
All in all I’m very excited for it I really didn’t spend any time playing with the modes I didn’t have a very long period of time today to mess with it I fit it in on my lunch. The dealers telling me it’s going to be late September early October before I’m gonna be able to order with any luck I’ll be able to order the hardtop Sasquatch and hitch so I get all the tow package and extra goodies factory!
