6/30 blend dates

LOTS of questions here, I'm sorry that I can't get to all of them.

Some notes:

- The 550 per shift total production target doesn't mean they'll be producing that many every available day from now thru December. We aren't going to see 65,000(or 55,000, or even 45,000) MY21 Broncos... and if we did there would be a HUGE number of soft top stock units heading out. There could be as many as 3 more weeks of downtime scheduled before the end of the MY21 run, along with balance adjustments and slowdowns to deal with commodity issues.

- MAP has been clearing the traced units backlog this week so I have to believe some of you will be seeing your trucks soon. I wouldn't expect the tracker to update in this situation but your dealer will get a pre-delivery notice.

- Looks like we're getting closer to a resolution on the MIC roof issues. That's all I can say.

Finally, my son (who is 9!) and I popped the clamshell off for the first time today. Super easy process. Then we went out and had some fun.

Just saw this is the large thread @PREMiERdrum started most recently. Interesting how the backlog is being cleared but we may not see updates to the tracker.

As always great info from Ross. Considering we get nothing from Ford, its a breathe of fresh air.

@JollyFolly had a released note in vehicle visibility. The Ford tracker may not update, but I would hope they would all be updated there.... which mine hasn't yet.

Thats me, and I'm as 6/30 blend as well. I took delivery on Wed 7/28, had a rain storm yesterday and got to drive in it for a while. No issues with the roof sealing, no other issues with rough edges or honeycomb(yet). IF the dealer truly gets the replacement panel within two weeks I'll be shocked based on the supply issues and mfg needs. Is it what delayed my production 24 days between rolling off the line and finally shipping? Hopefully we know some day. As long as Ford takes care of it I'll drive around for a month with the "bad" panel, the swap will take 30 min. Interestingly the dealer said the replacement panel carried a $3k cost

I would appreciate it if you could update us once the dealer get you the replacement panel. They most likely will have to pull it off the assembly line to get it to you, unless Webasto has a few spare panels at their plant. Whatever happens next with your Bronco is going to give us a good indication of exactly how bad this top shortage really is.

Just an update, I now have a Shipped timing of “Est 15 days”, this refreshed at some point vs my previous comms. If I tilt my phone sideways and on my computer it shows est delivery is 8.22

We got a batch of 5 brand new Ford explorers in to our shop this morning and whats odd is those all shipped convoy from Chicago to AZ. I’m surprised they aren’t doing this with the Broncos for a faster turn around.
