Don’t think this person is in here but here’s a 6/30 that was freed with my same exact color and build so there is clearly no order they’re going in.

And not really freed, the dates showed it basically on track....There's many built around the same time that have arrived. Build date doesn't mean automatic purgatory.

I was under impression that most folks were getting built/shipped notifications within 2 days from build date. Any ideas why our 6/30 build dates haven't progressed past "In Production"?
Was Dro the first to see a problem?

And here we are over a month later!

And day 47 dawn's on my poor little Bronco's life as a parking lot space holder. It feels so sad to be this age and not having it's tread touch anything but the asphalt and concrete of the plant where it was born. Thank you @Ford Motor Company for scarring it's first months of life!

What's your guess on how this ends?

Amid Ford's silence, there's no limit to how far this drags on.....mid-22?.....new top supplier in '23?

I drove one yesterday, so that helps with the patience. Hopefully, but I really won't believe it till I see it, @Ford Motor Company is pushing these production days off till September so they can move out the like 50%+ trucks that they have built. Look at at the July production number of how many produced vs sold, that is a ticking time bomb for a stock price. I guess I just haven't lost total confidence yet, and I really doubt I could be happy with a jeep now. The Bronco is a vastly superior product!

You know how there is sometimes a news segment where they investigate an issue? I wonder if me calling one of the local (Detroit) news station on this would be an interesting enough story and one that would spark a response from Ford. What do you all think?

I did email some guy with the Detroit news that was mentioned in a post pages back. He lost interest when he asked me to come.in for an interview and found out I was down here in Houston.

I’ve tried several news outlets, no one ever got back to me.

Waaaaait a second.

Looking at the MAP parking lot video again:

Anyone find it strange to see Roof Racks on some of these Broncos?

My assumption was these were added at the Accessory Shop and not on the assembly line.

If these had Bad MICs, why did they then have Roof Racks installed, only to have them taken off again before a roof replacement can happen.

To me this points to an issue other than MICs such as Chip Shortages.

Thoughts?

that is the hope & the prayer....as 5,000 new tops ain't gonna happen

Perhaps the F150 team threw their weight around & had some bronco chips diverted

We can’t know. We have unofficial info that the MIC tops are the issue, but all Ford has officially said is they are on hold for “additional quality checks” and/or “waiting on chips”. Some soft tops there too, could be a combo of the two. I noticed that most of the Broncos waiting have the 2.7 engine so my hope was that they have been waiting on chips that were to be delivered last week, but we’ll soon find out.

Good point there. Did not notice that fact. Possibly another @Ford Motor Company cover up?
