I was thinking this also, but I doubt they'll do it. Expediting shipping for all the Bad Batch Broncos or waiving the $1495 destination charges would mean a lot more to all of us that have been waiting for our Bronco since June than getting more "exclusive Bronco gear".
Yeah that would be nice but I believe some of that money goes to the dealer for prep and inspection. I bet Ford would have a hard time making the dealers happy by removing it. If shipped by truck I could have my Bronco the next day possibly. By rail most Rangers (according to dealer)take 2-3 weeks because of the holdups in rail and time the train is sitting before transport picks it up. A buddy of mine had his Bronco built on the second week of July (post shutdown) it shipped within a few days but he still doesn’t have it due to train issues. He was one of the lucky MIC’s that made it through QC.
Everyone that is impacted in this thread should have their roof replaced before any of the Broncos in the wild get their new roof.

This is costing Ford big already, there is no way they will spend more just to soothe some hurt butts.
I signed that one. But if it’s like where I work, once a decision is finally made, upper management will not reverse a decision. They will massage a decision so it can make them look better by being improved upon but still being the correct decision. If they will just ship them by truck when the new tops are put on it would show they are doing their best to get the Broncos to the customers and get the dealers some much needed money. In just about every communication they admit that nothing will make this better besides getting us the Broncos. Here is the chance for them to prove it. Get the tooling, make the tops, fit them on the bad batchers, and ship by truck to get us the Broncos sooner. It won’t fix all the bad feelings but it would be a welcome gesture that would go a long way to mending bridges.
What blows my mind is that Ford hands out $1,100 worth of FordPass points to customers who had a MOD Top and were forced to switch to the MIC Top, but all we get for having our Broncos sit in a dirt lot for 4 months is a hammock. . .
