Saleslady just texted me that they got the first customer order delivered this morning. Base model.

Guess I'll go check it out and see if it's got a MIC top to scrutinize.

Am I the only who thinks it’s odd that they texted you about someone else’s truck?

they can’t PDI until monday or tuesday!

Yeah not sure how I’d handle that. Better be some fairly extenuating circumstances at the dealership to make that cool.

Maybe, but I have a soft top and have been sitting the longest. Since 6/18.

@JollyFolly This being in the dark about what's really going on has definitely sucked the longest for you. Probably not much consolation, but at least we're all frustrated and losing patience together I guess. And I'm right there with you wondering if lot rot is going to be a real problem down the road.

Yup, if you have Bronco with a MIC top that still hasn't shipped it's because of the quality checks on the top nothing else.

@LIKEABOSS I'm also hoping it's only the tops, and those of us with the MIC actually do see some progress after the shutdown next week and that what PREMiERdrum posted in another thread proves to be true: "This week of shutdown will provide more than enough roof inventory to get these builds resolved."

Same….if there is a issue they need to address it directly. Them knowing and getting a backlog of warranty claims looks worse without acknowledging they are aware of an issue prior.

In the 3 weeks mine has been sitting at MAP these are all the reasons for the delays I've heard so far: the flood at MAP, the shipping backlog, bad MIC roofs on just 2 door Broncos, no wait, now bad MIC roofs on 2 & 4 door Broncos, problems with Sasquatch Broncos, various unnamed "parts shortages", chips being taken out of built Broncos and used to complete priority builds, and now just the good old "global semiconductor shortage". So I guess we just take our pick?

Exactly. I am headed to the dealer on Monday. Sitting w/the sales rep and GM. Hopefully will have some answers.

Mines got 31 days of aging already. Hope there is still some new car smell, unless it's one of the ones that smell different after COVID-19. That would suck.

Hoping for the same. It all sounds right! I will be 40 days locked up on Monday. I think if I don’t have any traction by the end of next week, all is lost and will have to start thinking about plan B.

Ford website tracker still been down for me all day… also had a call with the bronco hotline which got no where snd there answer is parts shortage LOL. I told them to escalate my call and they said a manager will call me back sometime in the next 3 days

Long time lurker but since I'm in the same boat as everyone else I thought I'd share some info. Like many on here my bronco was built 7/1 and has been waiting to ship ever since. The only hold on mine and most units are for the MIC top

Don't ask how I know, but currently a little over 5000 broncos are on stop ship due to MIC hard tops inspection and repair.
