Long time lurker but since I'm in the same boat as everyone else I thought I'd share some info. Like many on here my bronco was build 7/1 and has been waiting to ship ever since. The only hold on mine and most units are for the MIC top

Don't ask how I know, but currently a little over 5000 broncos are on stop ship due to MIC hard tops inspection and repair.
How do you know?

Well that certainly does suck.

And this means what for the timeline of these getting out?

Given there are 3 or so weeks of production beyond our 6/28 week, this doesn't surprise me. Only questions I have is if they indeed can cover that volume over the course of shutdown as @PREMiERdrum noted in another thread AND if they'll go based on days parked.

They really should start with the ones sitting the longest first. Seeing how ford has been handling this though, I expect them to handle it in the worst possible way and send out newer builds first.

I'll tell you from experience that 'aging' is something that's tracked in many parts of the business. Whether it applies here, I can't say.

That would be then! Sitting since 6.18
I will throw a wrench in the whole MIC top thing, as I keep mentioning, I am a soft-top. It can’t be JUST a hard top issue. Something else has got to be wrong as well.

Maybe you’re just held up with several other MIC top orders that are being shipped with yours to your area.

I can debunk that too…a few other Broncos built after mine have shipped to my dealer. MIC tops.

Saleslady just texted me that they got the first customer order delivered this morning. Base model.

Guess I'll go check it out and see if it's got a MIC top to scrutinize. 🤷
So I went to pick up some accessories and check out this Bronco my saleslady texted me about. It was actually a Big Bend non-SAS with a soft top. It was AMB and being inside it looked more black. Couldn't get into it for obvious reasons but I spied the original date of the window sticker was 6/15. The soft top had the rear side window wrinkle but I really didn't go over the rest with a fine toothed comb since I don't care.

Got the Bronco specialist to sit down and pull up Visibility and of course it still just shows produced with a bunch of TBDs and the last update of 6/30. Nothing new there, but he pulled up another screen (didn't catch what system he was in) that showed all of their inventory. He sorted it by Bronco and they have 4 showing right now, one of which is mine. The part that caught my eye in this system was in the far left column there was a section that had different colors. Mine was an amber color and the word "Plant" was in the box. The one that arrived and another one were green and they said "Transit". He told me that he was sure there wasn't any chip issues with mine, because when they are waiting on a chip he said they are red and the word "Hold" is in that block. Pulled up one of his F150 orders and showed me what that looked like.

Asked him about the railcar info and he didn't know what I was talking about. Also asked him how long the one that was delivered took to get here and he said he didn't know, probably 3 weeks.

There's a lot of "he said" and it's all coming from the dealer, so adjust your grain of salt intake accordingly.

TL;DR - I saw something I hadn't seen before, but I did not learn anything new. :)

Ford website tracker still been down for me all day… also had a call with the bronco hotline which got no where snd there answer is parts shortage LOL. I told them to escalate my call and they said a manager will call me back sometime in the next 3 days
The managers never call back. I should've had 3 managers calling me back by now
