I'm sure there's a mix of problems, but we don't know when those particular rigs (in the video) were built. What was true 84 years ago when ours were built may not apply to the ones getting parked in today's world.

Of course anything is possible but I have a hard time believing that the first three weeks of retail production suffered from any commodity shortages. Could be the case now, you know, 84 years later.

You know how there is sometimes a news segment where they investigate an issue? I wonder if me calling one of the local (Detroit) news station on this would be an interesting enough story and one that would spark a response from Ford. What do you all think?

We can’t know. We have unofficial info that the MIC tops are the issue, but all Ford has officially said is they are on hold for “additional quality checks” and/or “waiting on chips”. Some soft tops there too, could be a combo of the two. I noticed that most of the Broncos waiting have the 2.7 engine so my hope was that they have been waiting on chips that were to be delivered last week, but we’ll soon find out.
Or maybe that seized 2.7 wasn't a one-off fluke 😳

Put the roof racks on when you have the capacity to do so and to avoid further delays when you bring the vehicle back in for whatever other mod it may need.

They also don't have inventory space to store XXX amount of additional racks as they continue with normal production.

I may not nail exactly, but there's a reason for everything.

Sharing here because there are enough new threads out there...

My dealer finally got their mannequin this past week (never told me they were expecting one). I was very happy to see that it was a BL with the stock KO2s since the only two I've seen in person were BB and OBX. Not allowing test drives right now, but said they might for res holders soon. I'll spare you my impressions, but I liked it a lot.

Guy I talked to grumbled for a few minutes about how hard it was to get all four doors off, into the bags, and stacked in the cargo area properly

Love the MGV and washout floors. Oh shit handles were tightened down pretty good, minimal flex in them.

This rig had a blend date of 5/13 and they said it just got here this past week... Yikes if true.

First Bad Batch Bronco inmate (non shipped as of 8/8/2021) who takes delivery buys the rest of the club a beer 🍺. Must have a pre 7/3 blend date.

(We know who is in the club and who is not, don’t we. No Bronco come “latelys”)

Logistics will be communicated by Ford!

Happy to, but I'm fairly certain I won't be first with a 2-3 week train ride to Cali. Maybe first shipped?

Same. When (if?) mine ever is released I'm looking at at least a 3 week train ride for it to make it to my dealer. Too bad we're all so spread out, it would be cool to have a beer with my brothers (and sisters) in misery:)

True that. I am supposed to be road tripping home to see my folks in MO at the end of September but that's looking less likely by the week. My return trip to Cali in October is supposed to include SD, WY, and ID. Hoping for a miracle!

My dealer is 11 miles from MAP!

I’ll accept that challenge but I think my wallet is safe.

Sure could have used the locking differential in my new one on my afternoon national forest adventure! Current one did not like that deep mud with it's open differentials.

So are we all under the assumption that builds are being pushed to clear out our bad batches? No matter if it’s a roof or as some are claiming chip? I asked my dealer if I would have my Bronco by my September birthday and he said “I hope so”. I think he’s as out of the loop as I am.
