They kinda have no choice. They need to get all the FE's built this year, with a month of production left. They can still ship ours and sell them next year at a markup, but the FE's have to all go out this year. They quite literally don't have materials to do both. This is why the lack of communication from Ford. There's no way to say this without making things worse, so better to just sit tight and try and forget that there are thousands of people out there who are waiting for these vehicles.

After all the crap I've caught from my friends all my life for being a Ford guy,maybe I deserved it!

Brand loyalty is very valuable to a company and in reality @Ford Motor Company had a huge year. They could and should offer us an option where we all say, “actually that’s a pretty good offer, Ford”. My family owned an automotive aftermarket PR company and I’ve been pretty interested in how Ford has been handling communications. I’ll tell you that if I were Mike Leveine, I would at least be silent on Twitter, the very least, rather than post about how much fun I’m having driving Broncos and other Ford products around in the middle of a manufacturing PR disaster. Pretty tone deaf if you ask me and predictably has resulted in people being very pissed off.

As I read this forum I do thank God that Ford has nothing to do with the medical industry.
Could you imagine being taken to the FORD Emergency room with a severe heart attack and being told that the FORD doctor will be with you in a FEW minutes and he'll help you SOON.
Meanwhile, your life passes before your eyes.......

Isn't that the medical industry currently? I mean people have died in the waiting room after showing up with life threatening conditions.... I mean you can google "died in hospital waiting room" and get a myriad of stories. So if that's our measure, Ford's doing pretty good!

By any measure of reason, Ford’s communication is abysmal at best and apparently they also have a distorted view of what “a few” means.

Well.... My daily checking of my dealers convoy logs has discovered that they are getting their second Bronco in (1st one being Dealer Inventory that sold within a day beginning of July).

Turns out, it's a OBX, 2.3L Auto, Soft Top, MID that was built MONDAY (08/09) and delivered TODAY (08/11).

Feels great that two strangers off the street in town will have Broncos before my 07/13 gets delivered.
