Lol I'm about to call me dealer and say if you can get it shipped faster feel free to throw the dealer demo or another customer MIC top inside.... seems like it would be quick, cheap and easy way to get the new tops out.

If they are ahead of schedule or have replaced a large amount they would have the data needed to forecast dates. That to me is an even bigger failure in communication to not at a minimum say "top replacements are x amount complete should see mass shipping the following weeks"

It'd take Levine all of 30 seconds to shoot a tweet or @Ford Motor Company to post an update.

Except that they don't care.

I'm expecting a complete and total let down when DM is inspected by members this weekend. My gut feeling is that it's more than just the tops. I speculate that the majority of our Broncos need the hardtop replaced and chips installed. The longer they sit the more I believe this to be the case. Yeah, Ford said that the Bronco wasn't impacted by the chip shortage, but they have said a lot of things since the beginning of this rollercoaster. I'm trying to curb my expectations and be realistic. Ford is not immune to the chip shortage. There were reports awhile back of F-150's getting chips and the backlog being cleared.... I wonder where they came from.... Someone in a meeting got their way because the F-150's have been sitting for longer with customers just like us waiting for them. If DM looks nearly the same as before then that's where my money is. This whole week of down time was probably because of chips, not roof replacements. This would explain the soft tops and the random and few that have been released. It's been eerily quiet from some of the more connected folks on the forum. I really hope I'm wrong, but I'm usually very good at connecting the dots. I spend way to much time refreshing and checking the trackers and trying to figure out what in the hell is really going on with this circus. I'm doing a digital detox this weekend to relax. The bronco will get here when it gets here! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

I think I'll join you in that digital detox this weekend and instead get intoxicated with other pleasures of the Kentucky sour mash variety. I'll go back to being disappointed w/ Ford on Monday and more excited about getting my iPhone 13 before I hear any news about my Bronco instead.

How fast to you all think you'll get through the first 1000 miles on your Bronco? I feel like it's going to take me less than 2 weeks. I've been planning a long road trip home to see my folks for a while so I know I'll be blasting all over the central coast before that begins.

Not long at all, going to be driving all over the great state of Texas in it!
