I have MGV interior, and wanted to know if it is possible to install sound deadening material (like KIllmat) under the vinyl flooring?

Sure.
Just unbolt the seats, the console, take out the flooring (carefully, it can rip).
When you install the mat, cut out for the drain holes and you should be golden.
I've considered it myself.
I have a large box of it sitting on the shelf and it has tempted me more than once.

The vinyl flooring is thin enough to rip if you pull it?
If you get it folded and in a bind while yanking on it, yes.
Taking the time to make sure it does not get bound up, and freeing it at the source vs. just yanking on it goes a long way.
It's not easy to rip, but some people I've met in life could break an anvil with a banana given the chance.
