It’s only 163 delivered vehicles though. And unfortunately no way, as far as I know, to know if over the counter parts were affected.

It says the issue stems from assembly of the units. I’d assume over the counter units will be impacted too.

Well it says damaged during assembly.
Is that assembly of the rack? Or assembly of the vehicle? That’s the only reason I wasn’t sure.

They probably damaged them during the assembly of the units, then for good measure, damaged them again when installing on the vehicle. Just to be safe.

I don't know the details of when the damage occurred. They had their own Bronco fixed at the plant when it rolled off the line. Perks of working where the sausage is made.

Just like all recalls, I’ll worry when I see my VIN is directly affected. When I get a letter or see it in the app, until then Bronco on.
