You got the email I have been thinking I may get. I was 8/22 blend date still showing in production but have a tear tag, no email of being built nothing. Is this how all built emails are worded? Makes it sound like something was wrong when it came off the line. Could explain the month long delay in shipping.
Thanks for tracking this Base_Squatch! My tracker say, Built on 8/24.

I chatted with ford and they gave no reason as to why it won’t ship for a month. My dealer is probably only a 1.5 hour drive from the plant. You got the email I have been thinking I may get. I was 8/22 blend date still showing in production but have a tear tag, no email of being built nothing.
There are so many factors that can affect the shipping times that I don’t think it matters how close you are. I’ve seen shipping take a week for some people and over 2 months for others, and I don’t think the distance it has to go has much influence. It should, but it doesn’t.I chatted with ford and they gave no reason as to why it won’t ship for a month. My dealer is probably only a 1.5 hour drive from the plant.
GM probably has all the haulers tied up running trucks from Ft. Wayne assembly plant to storage location in the area. Seems like they have 10,000 or more trucks setting around the greater Ft. Wayne area. There are so many factors that can affect the shipping times that I don’t think it matters how close you are. At the top of the as-built page, under your VIN is where they put the tear tag ID.How do you look at the tear tag?
I think I'm clear from the mod shop or any other delays, unless they need to send it there to install the modular bumper. I hope not at least lolMy modules popped (BCE at least)! No tear tag yet. But I think this means I'm off, or close to off, the assembly line, and it's on its way over to the mod shop. I know my Bronco has to go to the mod shop for the roof rails, so I'm not expecting it to be completely built until Monday.
