7,000 units is in no way a limited edition of anything.

There were many more people that wanted a limited edition than limited editions...Plus most people that wanted one couldnt even get one because the websites were slow that night. I like this selling 3 dollar water after a hurricane...To me its very similar to that...but this is a toy, so its not that bad. Is he a reseller? I'm guessing no.

Again I'm all for capitalism, and if it works out for him great, but he still took someones limited edition, made it used, and will now resell for a higher price. To me its just wrong. It won't be illegal unless he sells for a profit and doesnt declare it, but I think he will do that too if he got this far.

If a car enthusiast buys a vehicle out of Auto trader for $20k and turns around and sells it on eBay for $50k is that scalping. Or when a car dealer adds $30k ADM to a highly desirable vehicle is that scalping. I don't think so and highly doubt it's illegal.

Selling a used car isnt a crime. Its all about intent. Is his intent to buy the car and use it and then sell it later for a profit? Is it speculative car buying? or scalping? hmmm

The point is rather simple. The guy selling on Ebay is an A$$HOLE! Just like every other jerk on Ebay trying to sell a PS5 or Xbox Series X for TWICE the price in stores. Total jerks. You want to make money, get a JOB. MAKE something I WANT and sell it to me. Don't take someone else's product and sell it for double the price. To me, those types of people are LOSERS plain and simple.

Then again, what does my opinion matter to someone looking to make a quick buck? It doesn't. Do I care? No. If I saw you on the streets would I tell you what kind of douchebag you are? Probably. I guess that's where Free Speech comes into play... As long as I don't HURT your little feelings by NOT being politically correct! Whatever

I'm not going to, but I wondered how much my FE 2 door would fetch on bring a trailer after I pick it up...

My guess is the First Editions will bring between $10K to $20k over MSRP. But we're all about to find out in the next few months.

On bring a trailer I've seen some crazy buys. Seems to be a place where a lot of money goes to play lol. I bet the first FE on there would go north of 100K.
