I started using MaxlOne last year on my 2023 Oxford White Black Diamond Bronco. I absolutely love the look AND feel it gave to the painted surfaces. Then, I did the outside glass and was even further blown away. Better than RainX in my opinion.
Last month, I took delivery of my 60th Anniversary Edition Wimbledon White over Ruby Red Bronco. First thing I did was a thorough wash, dry and a good coat of MaxlOne. It gives such depth to the Ruby Red. I'm not sure how often it should be applied but I like to do a quick refresh about every two weeks.
Here's my tip. As suggested by the makers of this product, I have an "application micro-fiber" and a separate "buffing micro-fiber". The buffing micro-fiber I wash and air dry after every couple of uses. The application microfiber, I keep in a large zip lock bag. I give it a quick spritz of MaxlOne every once in a while but I have found the moisture in the bag keeps the towel in ready to go mode.
The first application is the hardest because you want to get a good base coat. It took me about 90 minutes. After that, the refreshers are a breeze. (Remember, a little goes a long way). The application towel retains just enough product and moisture to allow a quick "spit shine" and buff with a clean, dry micro-fiber. 20-30 minutes tops. Did I mention I love this stuff?
