I removed the rear seats on my 2022 2-door today, to put a dog crate in the back.
When I started the car up to drive it, the airbag light came on.
This is annoying, as I plan to take some long trips with the dog crate (and the dog) in the back.
Is there a terminator, patch cord, or procedure to work around this issue, or am I going to have to live with that light on as long as I leave the rear seat out?
Is there something like a "rear seat delete" kit that would take care of this?
Thanks!

You need to take the seatbelt receivers off the seats and plug them into the body harness. Or find the proper resistor for the harness to think the rear seatbelt receivers are still there (likewise with the retractors but that’s a different resistance).

Thanks for the heads up on that.
I just did that, and the problem has been fixed!

Just curious how involved is taking the seats out? Is it bolted or quick release?
Thanks
It's a much bigger pain in the ass than it should be, definitely not quick release.
