if it was just floor maybe, but its more of the entire interior being wash out. I guess maybe some seat covers could help. I live in a rain forest climate so i dont want to have to worry about being out and about with the top off or missing top pieces. I will have a non mesh bimini for sure. we get a boat load of localized rain events.
PRP makes some really nice seat covers .... but yeah I get it.

We have dust everywhere here and rubber floor/seats would make blowing it out/wiping it down easier. But I don’t want to base the purchase on something that can be easily (potentially) be remedied in the aftermarket.

I have carpet in the JT and the rubber floor mats do a good job. The one upside to carpet is it is removable one way or the other (in the Jeep’s it’s actually made for easy removal and I would bet the Bronco will be similar).

The rubber floor, however, may not be removable - meaning as it gets beat up you’re stuck with it.

Ford has already said the drains are there under the carpet so with enough time there may be an aftermarket solution to replacing the carpet with a rubber mat. Or pull the carpet and bed-line the floor.

JK
We’ll have to keep saying this. There is so much angst over something that actually may not be the best choice and certainly isn’t a must have. In fact I want a Badlands for the off road capabilities, but I actually would prefer removable carpet over the rubber coating based on my Jeep experience.

Badlands
Base trim - $46,445
2.7L/10spd -$3500
Sasquatch - $2500
Mid package - $1500
Painted top - $1900
= Total $55,845

Vinyl seats, washout interior, steel bumpers, bash plates
Food for thought: If you didn’t Squatch and just waited and replaced with 34’s or 35’s when your OEM tires wore out, and went with the MIC top like you’ve selected with the BD, the Badlands would be $52,145.

This would get you:
The Sasquatch suspension with 4.46 gears and 1” narrower flares.
Automatic 4x4 engagement
Sway bar Disconnect
The bigger instrument panel display in front of the steering wheel

The Black Diamond is a great value though.

I like the High pkg on wildtrak for sound deadening as well. I would also add leather(stand alone).

A) it isn’t unpainted plastic. MIC is a plastic top with the gray color molded in. Painted has actual Shadow Black or Body colored paint on the exterior of the top
B) the painted top has extra parts you can remove (the gunner hatch on the 2 door, and the rear side windows on both)

I know the master thread says auto+2.7 is $3500 on Base 4 door but no way that's true. Base 4Door comes with auto, it should only be a $1900 upgrade. So:
Base trim - $34,695
2.7L/10spd -$1900
Sasquatch - $5000
= Total $41,595

where does it say that OB comes standard with body-color painted hardtop?
specs say Soft-top for 4-door and MIC-gray for 2-door.
