Amp in the cold

Sorry if this is out there but did a search and couldn't find anything. With the temperatures dropping below 20, my amp is acting very funny (not haha). It's intermittent when it comes to volume and today at 15 degrees, it sounded as if the amp was not working at all and the volume was at the head unit level. Anyone with similar issues or who know what the problem may be? thanks

What amp brand? Ford should be fine. Some aftermarket brand specs are max low temp like Audison AF that states

Ambient operating temperature range

0 °C to 55 °C (32 °F to 131 °F

I have never had an issue with my Audison AP Bit 8.9, previous gen to Forza, in far colder weather.

Call the mfg.....I've seen over at diymobileaudio AC quality issues hopefully still have warranty...

Never had an issue with my Skar or Rockford-Fosgate amps in sub-zero ° F temps. Coldest I can recall is -15°F. No issues with the speakers or amps.

Lol, my Kicker 500.1 seems to need to thaw in this cold weather we've been having. Sub'll come on anywhere from 5-15 minutes into the commute I'll tear down some things in summer and find out what's going on.
