I understand that I am trying to help the OP not bash him. Maybe the installer should have said something to someone. Maybe drive the truck for 50 miles before giving it back. Just trying to point out things I see.

I work in a shop and when we do lifts and ALWAYS go for a drive (maybe not 50 miles but if the instructions say that). Then re-check and re-torque everything we touched. Then after releasing to the cust we also recommend a 500 mile re-tourque and re-check.

Sometimes stuff works loose and settles in position from the weight being on it and being cycled through its travel numerus times.

:cautious: Maybe I should keep my thoughts to myself. 😁
That's the way it should work but seldom does, even when the shop recommends it. Most people just grab and go and don't give is a 2nd thought.

But my question is did Fab Tech intend for this kit to be used on SAS equipped Bronco's. According to Fab Tech this kit is designed for Bronco's to run 35's using Bilstein shocks. This is a Wild Trak (SAS) already running 35's. So I go back to my original question. Did Fab Tech intend for this kit to be used on SAS equipped Bronco's.

Then if this is the kit they used then the answer to your question would be yes.

..........if this kit then the answer is no.

Edit: to me it looks like the uca is the same, just the perch collars are different between the two.

Try this again...... edit: I am not a very observant sometimes, did not take note to the "lift" link and it's the first word. (which shows the correct kit). sorry OP.

Those torque values are pretty high, I wouldn't have known to do them that tight unless I read the instructions. My guess is the bolt for the uniball came loose, aka wasn't torqued.

Yes, but you can get Bilstein Factory shocks in either SAS or non SAS configuration.

"Fabtech’s high-quality 3" Bronco lift kit offers increased height to run 35" tall tires with additional front suspension strength. This kit helps level the vehicle stance front to rear for a more aggressive appearance.?

And if that is the case in our place then I can say. Have a nice day if you have an "issue" with what we did and want to blame us.

When I went back for a 5th time I notice now they use FK bearings (good) because I was just about to post that it could have been an inferior bearing that failed also, not the install.

Exactly! At that point it's not an installer issue or error, it's lack of maintenance (owner/operator error)

I hate to say this, but most people that pay to have a lift installed aren't actually going read the instructions that came with it.
This is good to know.. There were no instructions given to me... Just told to bring in after 1k miles for a re-torque

Re-torque sounds like a good idea, but won’t do you much good if they forgot the Pre-torque. This is the shop’s responsibility IMO… bad workmanship, not bad parts.

Interesting. You did not notice how many miles from when you dropped off to when picked up????

Lift was installed at Les Schwab about a month ago. I've put maybe 100 miles on it. About 15 minutes before it happened I was driving freeway speeds on a sketchy two lane highway with 3 kids on board. I dropped off one of the kids, and as I was about to pull out of the driveway, this happened:
Ford Bronco Angel on my shoulder... Les Schwab (Fabtech 3") Lift Fail!! 1650770140704

Has anyone every seen anything like this? Any advise?
Did you have it towed back to the shop that did the install?

under 100 miles on the lift

So 100 miles since you got it back. Got it. But what I am asking is how many miles from when you dropped off to get lift until when you picked up after. In other words did they drive the 50 and then ret-torque, then give to you.
