Greetings all from a new Bronco owner in Tampa. Last night we picked up a Velocity Blue, 2023 OB Sa 2.7s, with just 12k on the clock for the wife. Had to drive 220 miles to pick it up, so we got a good drive home to notice how good the road manners were and happy the road noise and wind noise were not too bad. 220 miles drive home at about 73mph with a/c on avg 21.6 mpg so very surprised (and no I did not buy for MGP).
Previous owner did have Amp Research retractable steps installed, and man they are clunky at times when opening or closing. Looking online and nothing is hitting, so plan to clean and lubricate all the hinge points, along with making sure all hardware is tight. Acts like it is trying to extend too far so maybe discount the control module from the battery and seem if it recalibrates itself. Will also check to see if the bump stops are inlace and in good order. Anyone else have any recommendations?
Looking forward to learning from you all the ins and outs of the Bronco.
Regards,
Greg
