.....some others of Leno's Bronco from a better "angle" that highlights the blue.

but you have to remember it is this at heart......

Posted this in another thread but it shows the difference in AMB

The way you see the color depends HEAVILY on lighting and angle of view in relation to the light source. Top pic is dark and light blue to me, but if you will notice it is very well light and the angle of the photo is much lower (it is on a stage) than if you would stand right next to it and take the pic. The last 2 are in what looks like Leno's garage. Not as much lighting.

.......... here is another one in the not so bright, Leno's garage, you can see how it has a dark blue hue to it in the front fender.

IMO AMB is awesome color, but it will be black or a dark blue most of the time you see it. but when it pops OOOHHH does she POP !!

RIDE ON HORSEMEN !!!!!!!!

I'd liken this to BMW's " Azurite Black" ....Corvette used something similar also, "Black Sapphire", I worked on one in the late 80's .... that color with machined aluminum rims drew everybody in the shop to where our bay was.
Everybody thought it was black at first glance, until we got it under the lights.
Gorgeous color I have always wanted to put on a split-bumper Camaro.

I'd also look at Ford's "Green Gem" which looks black until the sun hits it directly and the green POPS like a Emerald (gem stone, go figure).

Going AMB....i think OBX trim will help a lot, since the painted flares will provide a horizontal surface to hopefully catch some blue pops and go into 'blue mode' when the side slab is in 'black mode'. That should help tremendously when looking at a side profile. All you need are those little easter eggs pops of blue to prove the car isnt black. Honestly, if i knew i was getting sasquatch, or non-painted flares, i would probably stand down from AMB.

Because unless its near sunrise or sunset, the sun is only going to hit the little horizontal angles and bring out the blues. This is obvious if you go to Ford's 360 colorizer. When you rotate the car, this biggest pop of blue is across the front of the hood where its at a ~145 degree angle. It should be the same for painted flares.

My wife and I saw this same green at the grocery store yesterday. Thought it was black at first. Gorgeous color.
We would pay a premium to be able to get this on our Bronco.
