Any down side to having the Amber turn signal led on for drl instead of white?

Anyone see a down side to turning on the amber portion of the white led with the drl? I’ve had my bronco for two weeks and multiple people have just pulled right out in front of me. One a really close call maybe 6” to spare. I turned them on with forscan today in hopes they help people see me. I do not drive fast I think people just have a hard time seeing the grey with only white up front. Will in burn the Amber out of the led?

I’ll have to look where I changed it but it was in the plain text version left front turn signal and had three or four options. Then scroll down to right front turn signal and change that as well.

I'm not a fan of amber lights in general. But amber DRLs do stand out. Look at the front of the Kia Telluride. You can't miss it.

already did it. Had to trick it by putting a light on the sensor and have my son put it in drive. If I knew it was going to be popular I’d have made a tutorial.

I've tried repeatedly to get this to fully work. I also like the amber horizontal in the headlights, but I can't get front signals to work with headlights on. I'm guessing there are several codes that need to be modified. Hopefully someone gets it all squared away soon.

seems to work fine. I’ll get out there later today and take screenshots of what I changed. Had the wife in the bronco in drive no codes I changed the settings in the plain English section.

You have a ‘21 or ‘22. If you change it to marker lights yes the blinkers no longer blink. I will say I’ve not had anyone else pull out in front of me since the change.

I have a 2021, I would rather have directional indicators out front, I'm gonna need them for an inspection sticker

With the option of drl and signal for me they work. You can’t have them as marker lights that’s where the conflict is.
