That’s one thing I’m hoping is better than my JL. It doesn’t take long to reach GVWR with 4 people, luggage, & gear.

I’ve been wondering this exact question and even asked ford on twitter several times about this point with no answer yet. As far as I can tell we have the weight ranges for 2vs 4 door and i4 vs v6. I’m assuming the range is a variation including hard tops/squatch/etc. they say payload is 1370lbs for both 2 and 4 door but no other clarification if it changes based on engine spec or trims (which I’m assuming it will).
so best we can say is a range of 5600lbs for a base i4 or 5800lbs for a v6 (assuming payload doesn’t decrease) 2 door and 5800lbs for a base i4 or 6031lbs for a v6 4 door (again same assumption).
I would find it hard to believe that gvwr for a 2 door v6 loaded would be 5600lbs and a max weight of 5129lbs. That’s really cutting is close to put more than 1 extra passenger in the car with gear not mention accessories.
