if they're saying 4dr base curb weight w/ 2.7 is 5400lbs, Pretty good chance it’ll be over 6k gvwr.

Cargo+Curb weight is just shy of 6k lbs + 3500 towing. I'd say around 10k GVWR.

Edit: Was supposed to be GCVWR...
The GVWR should be around 6k lbs.

I’ve been wondering this exact question and even asked ford on twitter several times about this point with no answer yet. As far as I can tell we have the weight ranges for 2vs 4 door and i4 vs v6. I’m assuming the range is a variation including hard tops/squatch/etc. Ford states payload is 1370lbs for both 2 and 4 door but no other clarification if it changes based on engine spec or trims (which I’m assuming it could).
so best case we can say is a range of 5600lbs for a base i4 or 5800lbs for a v6 (assuming payload doesn’t decrease) 2 door and 5800lbs for a base i4 or 6031lbs for a v6 4 door (again same assumption).

why would you want it to be that heavy? I'm hoping it'll be as light as possible

gotcha - that makes a lot more sense :) thanks! as long as it can fit me (a chunky 200), my wife (130 or so) and our 2 chihuahuas along with my camera gear, that's all I care about :)

Taxes Taxes and Taxes - (deduction) _ I would think Ford would want it right at 6k just so it is another selling point. I know only the Gladiator with Max Tow package qualifies. I do not think any Wranglers do. It would be awesome to have this deductable.
