I gave up, and went with Sonos speakers, decent sound quality but the wireless setup is just to easy. I do still have a Quad speaker system going through Marantz av receiver when I want to listen to music.

I’m running Emotiva processor and amps with PSB Imagine speakers all around. Unfortunately my late 2015 XPA-2 amp has an issue recently where it goes into protection mode even with nothing connected to the inputs or outputs. I’m going to try and get it repaired (well out of warranty), but if not I’ll probably buy a cheaper Emotiva BasX 7 channel amp that will run everything and sell off the XPA-5. I think I have way more amp than I need with the XPA-2 and XPA-7 combo, but my NAD T757 wasn’t enough to run everything efficiently.

In the house I’m living at now I was really tempted to spend $1200 on a high end sound bar to match the new 77” LG C2 OLED I got in January. It’s hard to find space for the tower and all the speakers in the smaller living room.

I have a decent home theater setup with Denon head unit, an Emotiva amp, Chane L3 speakers, 2 PSA subs , Epson projector and 120” screen. It doesn’t get used as often as it should except movie nights and football Sundays

Current set up is mostly Klipsch with a DIYSG 1099 center channel. I'm actually in the process of finishing two more 1099 for my LR.

We are also in the process of getting a bid for a home add-on so that I can have a dedicated HT room so I'm not cluttering up our living room.

@Copperhorse73 what PSA subs you running? I've been looking at the TV1813.

Mine are about 8 years old, they are both XS30s , dual opposed 15s in each, sealed. By the way in my last house, much larger room, my whole front sound stage was 1099s, what a speaker!

Love the old school stuff. I had a pair of Carver mono blocks (wish I didn't sell them) powering Paradigm Studio Monitors. Now have Adcom 555 II that has been updated with a Denon DP45F to listen to the vinyl.

Yes :D 7.2.4 setup. Epson projector, PSA subs and speakers, Anthem AV70, buckeye amps 170” 2:35 screen. Been into HT for about a good 20 years. Just currently starting a reboot of my theater to much improve the sound proofing and rewire a lot of stuff.

I read a short article the other day (Sound & Vision I think) about JBL's new lineup of sound bars. According to them they sound pretty damn good.

Some people see clutter, I see some sweet HT gear! That Center you built, is that a kit or did you build it yourself?

Wow, Carver and Adcom, haven't heard those names in a while.

Love your set up! Old school rules!

I want a McIntosh MA8900 so bad, but right now don't have the cabinet space. Currently have a Vincent SV-237MK running a pair of Wilson Sabrina speakers and JL Audio subwoofer. VPI Classic turntable. 2-channel for me! At least in the music room.
