Any inside news on the painted modular top?

The modular painted hard top that many of us ordered for our 2021s is still never mentioned, other than Ford is putting it on the Heritage models. Those of us that downgraded to the soft top have going on 3 years of NO news about buying one to retrofit.

And not even, if we were interested, any ability to order a MIC top as a wholegoods order and not part by part

I am way too used living under a soft top....now the Oregon rains are falling and I am more likely to build a garage before Ford sells me the painted hard top that was 'promoted'. Maybe Ford would let me order and then build the garage for me?
We have all been bait and switched that initially ordered the dual tops.
